There can be a few scenarios where adding a new Join relationship or modifying an existing Join relationship can cause issues with the join rules appearing in the projected fields.
This is not an issue with the platform but sometimes the newly added or updated join rules will not be refreshed automatically and, hence will not appear in the projected fields join side.
Here are some FAQs for similar kinds of issues.
Q. I've recently added a new Join Relationship and I can't see it in the Projected Fields' value rule.
A. Clicking the "x" icon in the drop-down might display the options correctly. You can also try removing and re-adding the recently added Join relationship into the report.
Q. What if the above solution doesn't work?
A. Verify if the name of the Join rule has been changed or if the right or left value set has been updated.
Q. I recently imported a report and some of the projected fields look like this.
A. Confirm that the Join rules are intact, have not been renamed in the process and have those attributes in the right/left value rule which exists in the query dataset.
Q. My configuration looks ok, but the report is still hung.
A. If the Join relationship definitions are correct and still the Join value sets don't appear in the projected field, try downloading the JSON extract of the report, update the join side manually and re-upload to the Identity panel to check if it reflects the left/right join set.
If none of these methods provides a satisfactory solution, please raise a request on the Zendesk portal for the support team to look into this issue.
