Q: When updating the Identity Panel Windows Service, I receive the notification that the installer needs to update certain files that cannot be updated while the system is running and will require a restart. Can you advise which files are they and is there a way to run the update of the Panel Service/PanelTools without having to restart the server?
A: If you stop SoftwareIDM Panel Service and validate that no copies of PanelTool.exe are running it should release the relevant file locks. The relevant files are all located in Program Files\SoftwareIDM\Panel Tools
