Configure Run Program Workflow and Schedule

The run program step executes an arbitrary script or program.

The workflow step embeds 1 KB of resultant output in the results of the Workflow Record. The schedule step captures 10 KB of output to standard output and standard error and saves it in a Program History Record. 

The run program schedule step may run simultaneously with anything but a Run Program step that has the same Panel Service, Program, and Args.

Settings

• Program Path – Required, can be a full path or the name of the program if the program is on the PATH environment variable.
• Args – Optional, arguments string to pass to the program.
