If you have lost access (for example by deleting the group associated with the Admin role), you can reset access by doing the following:
On-Premises Customers
Connect to MongoDB with MongoDB Compass
Navigate to the application database (the database name with a Guid in the name)
Open the JsonSettings collection
Option 1: Delete the Roles object
Option 2: Update the security principal property of the Admin role (to AD objectSid string of desired group):
Log out and back into Identity Panel. If the Roles object was deleted, a new default Roles object will be initialized with the current user assigned to Admin.
Hosted Customers
You will need to open a ticket and your identity and request will need to be thoroughly vetted (for security reasons).
