Identity Panel™ Core Framework (Legacy)

NOTE: As of January 1st, this product has been replace by the Identity Panel App. This will not affect customers who have purchased perpetual licenses. These customer will still benefit from Identity Panel Core Framework, and it will continue to be supported indefinitely.

The Identity Panel™ Core framework is the host application plus the service agents that make up the backbone of any Identity Panel solution. All Panel applications inherit their base functionality and security from the The Identity Panel Core Framework. The Identity Panel Core Framework provides the following functionality. 

Authentication and Authorization

The Core Framework provides the web application's role, security, and access model. It provides all levels of the Identity Panel product security, including authentication and access. Authentication relies on a authentication and access facilitated by anyone of the following: Windows Server, Active Directory, AzureAD, and WS*Fed. Furthermore, Identity Panel Core Framework includes the attribute and criteria based security that allows Identity Panel to serve data securely using a least privileged model. Security is provided at the API and data store level, and is therefore enforced at the lowest level of the Identity Panel Core Framework. 

Web Service

Provides the web service access to the web application and all web application services. 

Data Store

Provides for data store pipe to MongoDB of scanned and collected identity, directory, and access data. Additionally, stores all history and settings. CosmosDB is supported as a license add-on.

Time Traveler™

Provides the Time Traveler user interface. This interface provides a unified view of any scanned and collected user's identity (or other object types, like groups), in various silos, listing the collect attributes and values. The Time Traveler enables the viewer to move forward or backwards in time, or to a place in time, to see the user as they were. 

Time Traveler™ Shutter Views™

Shutter Views allow Time Traveler data to be minimized to limited set of attributes and silos. Each shutter is named, and with assigned access, can be granted to an Identity Panel user. Shutter Views enable the viewer to restricted the amount of data displayed, so important information can be identified visually, quickly.

Time Traveler attribute level security

Attribute level security is provides in Identity Panel Core Frameworks Web Service API and database level (two places). This security is provided to all data access inside and outside of the Time Traveler, including Reporting.
