Introduction
This guide covers the process to get Test Panel setup, and ready for the creation of Fixtures, Assertions and Test Suites.
It is worth noting that all export providers will be available to select in Test Panel, but for testing purposes, it is recommend to have a separate provider setup just for testing.
Setup
License Key
While the following steps can be completed without having a License for Test Panel, it is recommend to confirm that the License for Test Panel has been added to Identity Panel. This can be checked by going to settings, and then licenses, and confirming the licenses has been installed. If you have not purchased a license, please click here to arrange a meeting to discuss purchasing it. If you have purchased a license, but is it not visible, please click here to arrange a meeting to get your license key added.
Providers
Before we can start testing, we need to ensure all the data sources are setup and the providers have been configured. This allows the fixtures and assertions to be assigned to the correct provider when they are being setup. If the data scans have already being run, it also allows us to quickly create fixtures from the silos.
Testing Provider
The following guide provides details on how to setup a provider to be used by Test Panel, and configure virtual silos, so that we can create fake objects in the silo for testing purposes. Once the following steps have been completed, we will be able to start creating Fixtures, Assertions and Test Suites.
