Configure Write Event Log Workflow

The write event log workflow step provides the ability to write data to the windows event logs of a target server. By using templating, commonly with the Json() Rule Engine function, virtually any type of Identity Panel data can be logged.

Settings

Event Type – Information, Warning, or Error

Event Source – Defaults to SoftwareIDM Panel Service in the Application event log. When targeting a different event source it is advisable to create it in advance and ensure Panel Service has appropriate permissions.

Message – Data to be written
