Truncate Ops Log
The truncate ops log schedule step performs maintenance on the MIM operations log by truncating it to the given number of days. Because run history data is retained in Identity Panel, it is possible to keep the sync engine operations log shortened which frees significant disk space in the SQL database.
The Truncate Ops step requires an environment parameter and a number of days to retain.
Unless remote WMI permissions are configured this step must be run locally on the sync server using the Preferred Servers option.
Truncate Password Log
The truncate password log step performs the same maintenance against the MIM password history log. It has the same arguments and constraints as the truncate ops log step. The data that is purged by the truncate password log step will be retained in Identity Panel provided Password History scans have been configured.
