Configure SQL Size Health Probe

The SQL Size probe returns the current aggregate size of either the data files or log files associated with an MS SQL Server database.

Unlike other probes the SQL size probe does not have a default fail rule as it is very situationally variable. Typically the result will be displayed as a string value.

Settings

Server – Server to connect to. May contain an instance name, e.g. MIMPRD01\SQL

Database – Which database to query file sizes for. Panel Service must have access.

Check – Whether to query Database or Log files

Fail Rule – Default is no rule specified
